Birò is able to tackle slopes up to 20%, thanks to the ‘’Boost’’ function it is possible to supply deliver more power, using the two 4kW brushless motors. Particularly demanding climbs can be tackled for a limited time and with fully charged batteries. The constant and continuous use of the ‘’Boost’’ function leads to a faster deterioration of the main battery.

For all new Birò models with a Birò card reader installed, there is no risk of damaging the battery; in fact, leaving the vehicle on charge is recommended. On the contrary, for older Birò models without a Birò card reader it is not recommended to leave the vehicle on charge for more than 72 hours consecutive. Regardless of the version, it is recommended to recharge fully once a week.
If Birò is not used for long periods, it is necessary to avoid leaving the vehicle with a discharged or partially charged battery, especially when the outside temperature is low. Make sure that the batteries are fully charged and ensure that the Birò is charged at least once every three months, this will compensate for the self-discharge of the batteries. Before leaving the vehicle unused for long periods, remember to disconnect the “buffer battery” located under the engine hood following the instructions in the service and maintenance manual provided.
